| Abstract: | • Transportation and Storage - Poor storage, processing, and transport infrastructure hampers efficient handling and distribution of agricultural produce. • Technology - Limited access to sustainable practices and modern technology knowledge hinders agricultural progress. • Urban development - Urban development has led to increased population in local town markets, resulting in frequent traffic congestion. • Addressing these challenges through strategic planning and targeted investment is essential for enhancing rural livelihoods. • In Davangere, millet production remains low despite the region’s agricultural potential and the well-known health benefits of millets. This underutilization limits both nutritional diversity and opportunities for sustainable farming in the area. |
