Abstract: Job satisfaction is the employees feeling of satisfaction towards his job or work, whether he likes or not the job, individual aspects or facets such as nature of the job, guidance from supervisor. Job satisfaction is a fundamental element in developing the organisation, if an employee is satisfied with all the facets of its job then he’s productivity increases automatically. Employees should feel a sense of belonging only then they can feel an attachment with the company and have a smooth running of the working process. Employees must be asked for their suggestions and must be involved in decision making process. Employees have to be left open for operating things, which can help them gaining experience. When employees are asked for suggestions and ideas they contribute more than they are expected to improve the effectiveness of the company. It also results s decreasing low absenteeism low turnover rate. There increases the productivity of quality and valuable products and services. In many cases the individual, organisational and environmental aspects constrain the productivity and satisfaction relationship to an extent where there s less practical use. At the end the person can get stressed up and can start giving poor performance, but such cases cannot be denied because they can stay for longer period of time. Therefore job satisfaction is more important to the organisation than to the individual. Workers can change their job but it will act as a cost to the firm because they need to hire new employees which are costly to them.
