Abstract

The project as well as Internship report on “comparative analysis of Equity and Debt oriented Mutual Fund” at Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund is carried out in a excellent way. The data is collected from the AMFI website, websites of the companies selected on the basis of top rated in value online research and money control, Fact sheet and Benchmark Index values are taken from BSE and NSE. The first chapter is about the information of the study, which gives information about how the Mutual funds has been established and the challenges faced by them, and also about the people who plays an important role in the Aditya Birla and their financial status. In the second chapter is about the mutual funds concepts i.e., types etc and main objectives to this research and how the research is made and methods used for collecting the data and mentioned few literature review of various authors had done. Hypothesis which is done to know the significance of the study. Analysis and interpretation includes descriptive statistics of average and standard deviation, correlation coefficient, risk, Treynor, Sharpe ratio to know which fund is performing well. Findings, suggestions and Correlations where findings are to know what is the findings are made during the analysis of data. Suggestions is for the betterment of investors to know which Equity and Debt growth fund scheme is performing well and advising investors to invest in those equity growth fund. Finally, conclusion is given for the project based on the study conducted.
