A simple, rapid and accurate HPLC method has been developed for simultaneous estimation of Diacerein and Aceclofenac in tablet formulation. The HPLC method was developed by using Phenomenex-Luna C18 (250 x 4.6 mm ID, 5 μm) with mobile phase using Acetonitrile: 0.001% v/v o-phosphoric acid in HPLC water (pH: 4) (80:20 v/v) flow rate of 1ml/min and UV detection at 258 nm. linearity was observed over concentration range of 5-25 μg/ml and 10-50 μg/ml for Diacerein and Aceclofenac respectively. The accuracy for HPLC method was determined by recovery study, it was found to be 99.78 - 100.36 % and 99.38 - 99.98 % for Diacerein and Aceclofenac respectively. The results of the analysis were validated statistically and recovery studies were carried out as per ICH guidelines. The proposed method is precise, accurate and rapid for the simultaneous estimation determination of Diacerein and Aceclofenac.en_US
