M: The thesis would aim to create a contemporary mixed-use high-rise structure that would be distinctive to India and its climate that provide a sense of context and belonging to people. there would be a commercial or public space at the street level so it becomes a part of the urban life and not just another imposing high-rise. Also, there would be a focus on creating open spaces for the personal well-being of people which is paramount as events like pandemics are more likely today than ever before. also a mixed residential which has the facility of work from home. The design would also include an underground metro depot, which would help better connect Girgaon to other parts of Mumbai since traffic is a major issue. Also, the design would aim at addressing all the necessary spaces which are required for modern-day city life. LIMITATIONS: The definition of what is Indian architecture is vague as so many styles exist in different regions of the country and the selection of the site would dictate which Indian style is to be followed in the design of the high rise. FAR in cities are not very high and is generally between 2-4 unless there is a huge site with sufficient setbacks. This is primarily because of the lack of fire-fighting capability and cities need to be planned better. There would a huge investment required for the construction of such a high rise structure. The project would have to be financially viable and not just a hypothetical design.en_US
