dc.description.abstractAIM The study aims to explore and understand the temporality of a space by Mapping different functions and activities of space with change in time. The design aims at revitalising a public space by understanding the relationship between space, time and function which can respond to the changes in the physical environment. GOAL To create an Architectural setup that adapts to the various activities which are associated with the daily/monthly and yearly events of the city and to design a space that allows transformation in cooperating a spatial layer of public landscape within the city. OBJECTIVES 1. The needs of a city change from time to time, catering to every function according to the necessity by proposing apt design interventions. 2. To Morph the relation between Temporary built for modifiable, temporary functions and permanent built for fixed functions with respect to space, time and function in an urban setting. 3. Architecture that defines the relationship between the user and the function; and highlights human behaviour and the Power of architecture to move people in a space. 4. Creating a vibrant public space that contributes to the fabric of the city physically, economically and culturally out of an otherwise underused urban pocket. 5. Public spaces are overstated monumentally and lack the essential everyday purpose or activities that define a public space. To reimagine the public realm by addressing the issue of the dire need for a public space that is truly public in the city. 6.
