Abstract: AIM • To improve accommodation facilities • To encourage people to interact with animals. • To provide treatment and attention that is extremely necessary. • Providing necessary training NEED Animal shelters play a vital role in our communities because they work to reunite pets with their owners, provide shelter for those in need, and find new homes for animals who have been abandoned, are homeless, or should not be roaming our streets for our own safety. 2 OBJECTIVE • Create a functional design that addresses the physical and psychological needs of shelter animals. • Sterilization/spaying programmes and local adoptions to reduce the overpopulation of street dogs. • Managing a rescue centre, which is used for adoptions, post-surgery/sterilization care, and transitional rescue for dogs in immediate danger. • Improving the health of abandoned pets. • To have a better understanding of animal behaviour in a shelter. SCOPE This research will focus on assisting and enhancing animal welfare, as well as understanding and appreciating the value and effectiveness of having a healthy wildlife population in the city.
