Abstract: Women's empowerment is a significant societal issue that requires an understanding of its broad impact. Women's Empowerment refers to building of a culture in which women may make their own decisions for their personal and societal good. Women's rights have developed as a prominent global movement that has been breaking new ground in recent years. Days such as International Women's Empowerment Day are gaining popularity. In developing countries like India, gender inequality issues, lack of education, unemployment, insufficient technology, and limited skill set altogether undermine women’s abilities to engage in activities that would promote and sustain their economic well-being. Because of the uneven opportunities for women at work, the global economy suffers significantly. Both men and women are equally competent. The most difficult aspect of addressing gender injustice is convincing oppressed women that they are worthy of equality. There are thousands of such women in cities, including beggars, women saved from sex trafficking, women from abused homes, and ignorant women in need of a safe place.
