Abstract: | Mixed-use transit-oriented development (TOD) is an urban development strategy that combines different land uses, such as residential, commercial, and office spaces, in close proximity to public transportation, such as bus or train stations. This approach aims to create vibrant, walkable communities that are easy to access and navigate without relying on personal vehicles. The mixed-use nature of these developments allows for greater convenience and accessibility for residents and visitors, while also promoting sustainability by reducing the number of car trips and promoting the use of public transportation. |
