Abstract: This architectural thesis project endeavors to address the critical issue of juvenile rehabilitation and skill development within the framework of a purpose-built center. Recognizing the pressing need to rehabilitate and empower at-risk youth involved in the criminal justice system, our project aims to design an innovative and holistic facility that fosters positive transformation and growth. The primary objectives include the creation of a safe, nurturing, and rehabilitative environment that ensures the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of juvenile residents. Through an architectural lens, this research explores the integration of various spaces and elements aimed at rehabilitation, education, vocational training, and reintegration into society. By emphasizing sustainability, human-centered design, and therapeutic spaces, the architectural thesis seeks to contribute to the broader goal of promoting reformation, skill development, and social reintegration for juvenile offenders, ultimately shaping a more hopeful future for these young individuals.
