dc.description.abstractThe aim of this architectural thesis is to design a purpose-built facility, Ayodhana Kalarippayattu Kendram, that not only serves as a functional training center for Kalarippayattu practitioners but also acts as a living testament to the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. The design will integrate traditional architectural elements with modern amenities, providing an immersive and holistic experience for practitioners and visitors alike. •To explore the possibilities in design of Ayodhana kalarippayattu kendram. •To explore the possibilities in design of kalarichikiltsa center. •To explore the play with open, semi open and closed places in my building. •To create functional and effective space and reflect the principles, culture and history of south Indian art, kalarippayattu. •To explore highly private spaces as well as open to all public spaces, the challenge being a seamless integration of the two into a unified whole.en_US
