Abstract

The initiative aims to provide safe , adequate and affordable housing for slum dwellers , incorporating essential infrastructure and sanitation , while including housing, community center, and shops for basic amenities to create a secure environment and enhance their livelihood and support local business to foster economic self sufficiency . The objective of slum redevelopment in India is to convert informal settlements into secure, hygienic, and sustainable living environments by offering improved housing, essential services such as water and sanitation, and avenues for enhanced quality of life.
